sierciaCan't do most of the actual work I was going to do in the office today, for assorted and sundry reasons.
Good thing I brought my knitting and a book with me. I didn't bring any lunch though, and it's raining cats and dogs out there. Not really supposed to leave, either. Guess I'll scrounge from whatever I have stashed in the kitchen.
The painters are here today. They're using something downstairs that made my throat burn after standing there talking to them for a few minutes. Thankfully, it doesn't seem to be wafting up here at all.
I think I've figured out how to do the dratted short row wraps so that they don't look weird on my purl rows. Since I've been fighting with them for a while, I'm very pleased that I've found a way that works. Unfortunately, it seems to involve doing them, knitting a few rows, then dropping the stitches down, re-aligning the wraps and moving on. Maybe next time I'll do it more cleanly.
