sierciaI was on baby duty, since Wiley's taking her for most of tomorrow. And he made plans, so I had nothing to do anyway. Since we're busy the next few weekends, I decided I'd drive down and visit with my Dad. He's completely smitten with Widget, and it's been a whole month and a half since he's seen her (the horror!)
So, we dropped Wiley off at Matt's for a day of car stuff and playstationing, and hit the road. It was a beautiful day for driving. I opened the sunroof, popped a Bobs CD in the player and zoomed down to CT. My Dad was thrilled to see Widget; we took her up to Borders so my mom could visit with her on her lunch break. And we came back to the house, and she had a bottle with her grandpa, and we played with her for another hour or so, then packed up and made the trek home.
It was a lot of driving, and I'm tired now, but it was a good day. It made my Dad really happy.
