The speed of sound

Lately, life has felt like it is moving at the speed of sound.

All kinds of things whizzing by, I can barely keep up.

Very cool. Nick looks very happy. Glad you guys had a nice time.

Any chance you'd be interested in hanging out sometime? Haven't seen you in a while. (Guess that means both of us have had crazy lives lately.) I'm footloose and fancy free tonight since Halleyscomet has gaming. Don't think we have any other solid plans this week in the evenings either, so maybe we can do dinner or something.

Like Wiley said, we've already booked ourselves solid for this week with Widget gone.

We can definitely make plans for this weekend or next week, though, if you want to get together.

Okay, how's about we see if we can plan something for the weekend? I know that Skreeky and husband have a shindig on Saturday which we want to swing by at some point but the rest of the day is unspoken for. We're going to be working on the livingroom ceiling repairs on Sunday afternoon, but breakfast or dinnertime plans are a possibility. What floats your fancy?

I just can't believe your little brother is all grown up!!!! Your parents look great, they look the same, it's everyone else who's just growing by leaps and bounds. Widget looks so beautiful dancing with Wiley. In a blink of an eye he'll be dancing with her at her wedding. It really is amazing how time flies by.

I know! I can't believe it either.

Nor can I believe that Becky is a doctor, or James is about to officially be a truck driver =)

And I nearly cried at the wedding this weekend thinking about going to Widget's wedding someday.

Yup! He's the older of my two brothers. Can't believe he's old enough to get married. And the other brother leaves today to start his training to be a driver for the trucking firm that's hired him. A week of big changes!
