Another dinner success

sierciaTonight I made eggplant parmesan. This wasn't a new recipe, as I have made it before. BUT. I finally got the breading to stick properly, and it came out really really good.
And in the amazing part of the night... I accidentally set off the smoke detector while frying the eggplant. Wiley dove for it, but it was going for a good 20 seconds before he got it turned off. Somehow, this managed to not wake the baby. So much for tiptoeing around the house.
