I'm looking for something I need. I've found them in the "Hold everything" catalog, but they're wood, and wicker, and $25 each, which is SO not what I want to pay.

Hold Everything calls them "magazine butlers", essentially they're narrow boxes with no tops so you can put your magazines in them, and store them upright without having them fall everywhere. I know I've seen them in plastic, and acrylic, but now I can't find them anywhere. I tried Bed Bath & Beyond today, I've tried Linens-n-things, kmart, walmart, Pottery Barn and Yahoo shopping (which only found one, which was, again, all fancy, and not really what I'm looking for.

Anyone have any ideas where else I should look?

Have you tried Staples or Office Max?

I'm pretty sure they have them in plastic, or even cardboard.

The Container Store has them, if you have one near you. I have a really nice collapsible mesh one from them, with handles on the side that I keep under my coffee table for tossing all the catalogs and mags I find around the living room into.

Super-cheap fold-em-yourself cardboard ones are available at Staples. (I got a set of 3 to use for mail sorting.)
