Of course, there's an immutable law of the universe that says all bright white keds must become smeared with dirt within 15 minutes of being donned. Poop.

I've never even gotten to have real Keds before neither. It's pretty cool.

They're the univesal, generic white sneaker for women sold in the States, as viewable HERE. They used to be ubiquitous, now they're less popular, but I love them. It also used to be that you could find knock-off everywhere for 1/3 the cost, but they seem to be no longer popular enough for that.
