I sent my letter off to Stride Rite customer service yesterday evening, and I had the following response from them in my inbox when I got to my computer this morning.


Dear Jennifer,
Thank you for your comments. We currently still have inventory in a variety of sandals. They include the "Cisco," the "Summer," the "Minnow," and the "Morris." You did not specify a size that you were looking for, but if you call me at 1-800-650-7708 extension XXXX, I can assist you in finding a sandal for your daughter. Unfortunately, most of our retail stores are gearing up for the back to school sales coming up in August. I apologize to you for your unpleasant shopping experience.

While I'm still frustrated, I'm pleased they were so responsive. I didn't have time to call them today, but I'll be calling tomorrow to see if they have what we want.

Amazing they didn't send you a canned response. I believe that deserves a "yay!" even though the whole experience has been frustrating.
