More hair news and rambling
Sep. 13th, 2002 11:31 pmSo, the coloring on Wednesday didn't go quite as I hoped. It took a LOT by my face, and not so much on the rest of my head. I made an appointment with the stylist I saw on Tuesday to hopefully even it out and darkn the red up just a bit. I hope. I like the red, I think it would be fin to be a redhead for a bit, but it needs to be more even. I hope it can be fixed without doing anything that'll fry my hair too badly. I'll see.
Widget and I had a good day today. She let me sleep until about 8:00 and was in a good mood for most of the day. We wanders arounf Marshall's and I got more stuf for my package gang buddy. I sa the cutest coat for the winter, but I thought it might be a bit over the top - bright red with little faux leopard cuffs and hood trim. It looked really cute on her though, so I might swing back by tomorrow. It was 2T so it should fit her all winter if I get it. And then (of course) grocery shopping; this week screaming fit free. Ran into my boss's wife, where I got the oddest compliment on my hair - she said that it was very "easy to notice". One of those "I'm not even sure it was a compliment" compliments, you know?
Lunch with Ms. Arwen and Ms. Elsinore. Mmmmm, yummy Indian buffet. This time we even left an appropriate tip. Then naptime and I cleaned the kitchen. Icky Fridge! Just for fun, (and because I've never done one, here's a poll for y'all. Guess what the nastiest thing I pulled out of my fridge today!

Wiley took Widget out for a walk when he got home so I could try another of the loaned yoga tapes. This one was less instructional, and have four different modification levels demonstrated. I really liked it, and think it may be the one that I buy to start out. Speaking of, we had a different instructor for yoga this week. She was nice, but awfully "new-agey" and that made class a little strange for me. But, I imagine it's good to get exposed to different instructors; they all have different methods and ideas and blahdiblahblah.
Wiley just told me tha Ani has a new live album out. He thought it was coming out next week, but it's already been released. I think I'll be swinging by Borders on my way home from the hair salon tomorrow to pick it up. Whee!
Sunday is my friend Elaine's wedding shower. I am so happy for her. Her fiance is simply a wonderful man, and they make such a couple. I cannot wait to see them get married in November. I've got to wrap their shower present tomorrow! Getting there is going to be a challenge though. I've got yoga from 10-11, the shower starts at 1:00 abnd Mapquest says it's a 2 hour drive out there. So, Wiley gets' to drop me at yoga, drop Widget with Chris and Jess, get me from yoga and then we zip out to Westfield MA. At least we get lots of non-baby road trip hanging out time.
All right enough random babbling from me for one evening. I should wander off, it's getting late.
