*sigh* I really wish I could go to Fargo again this year. My favorite on-line source for stitching supplies run these stitching retreats, where you go, stay at a hotel (with nice hot tubs) and spend the weekend stitching. You get to meet new people, and she ran a couple of mini-classes the year I went, and it's just generally fun. Alas, the weekend costs almost $300, and I can't find airfare for under $350 which means I just can't afford it. *pout*

BUT, I am organizing something similar for my friends here in Boston that year (either this summer or fall). It won't be quite the same, but I think we'll still have a really good time. Check out the place I want to go. I wonder if I can afford to make little stitching gift packs for my friends. That would be neat.

Yay for clean desks

Finally got around to cleaning my desk off today after living for weeks with the leaning towers of death all around me. And not a moment too soon - open windows + breezy day = papers flying everywhere, had I not cleaned up. Woohoo.

I've decided

I need to make a mix CD for playing when driving on beautiful days like this. You know the kind I mean. Full of songs you can just sing along to at the top of your lungs, that can't help but make you smile while you're singing them. Anybody have any suggestions for what should go on it?
